Version 0.8 = Initial public release. 7/30/2021
Version 1.0 = Major overhaul. 5/16/2024
Version 1.1 = Added Inventory Space page. 5/24/2024
Version 1.2 = Added shop editing. 6/18/2024
Version 1.3 = Added Health/Misc page. 6/24/2024

Version 1.3 update:
Added new Health/Misc page, which includes: Editing for starting/new game health (also determies max health), take no damage from enemies, 1 shot kills enemies, money pickup modifier, amount of health restored from most health items (Green Herbs, Eggs, etc), amount that your maximum health gets increased when using Yellow Herbs.

Version 1.2 update:
Added editing for shops, which includes: Cost for all weapons and items (will find this in the "Upgrade/Item costs" page), can edit what's for sale, can increase the number of items for sale in the first 5 shops to 14 items (1st shop normally only sells 9 items), can edit the quantity of items for sale in shops (up to 99), can edit weapon upgrades (up to level 6 upgrades, or exclusive upgrades), options to make it so you won't get charged when buying or upgrading in shops. Also added a new caution note on the "Inventory space" page about making larger weapons too small, as well as a note that upgrading weapons may make them cost more in shops.

Version 1.1 update:
Can edit the size of weapons/accessories/ammo/items for your inventory screen (can hold a lot more things in your inventory by making them smaller), ROM/ISO addresses will be displayed for most of the things that you can edit.

Version 1.0 update:
Complete overhaul of the editor. What's new: Can now create a copy of your ROM/ISO when patching if you'd like, added editing for weapon firepower (all weapons and all levels), editing for ammo capacity (all weapons and all levels), increased maximum allowed ammo from 250 to 999, editing for type of ammo weapons use (Handgun can shoot shotgun shells, etc) as well as accessories (silencers, scopes, etc), editing for weapon firing speed (Handgun can shoot as fast as the TMP, etc), editing for all of the weapon upgrade costs. ROM/ISO addresses will be displayed for most of the things that you can edit.

This editor lets you customize many parts of your Resident Evil 4 game and will patch the changes into your ISO file.

Will only work on the USA version of the game (Game ID = SLUS-21134). Program checks to make sure you have the correct file, and won't let you open the wrong one. The exact name of the ISO/ROM I used is: Resident Evil 4 (USA).iso

Your patched ISO will work fine on a new game, or with in-game saves (using a typewriter). Any changes will probably not work on most pre-existing emulator save states, although any new emulator save states will carry over any changes already made. In short, it's best to use the in-game saves.

There are Help and Info buttons in the editor that should answer any questions.

When patching, you can decide if you want it to create a new ROM or not. If you do make a new ROM, the program will automatically add "Patched" to the end of your file name, which makes it easy to remember which file was patched, although you can name the new file anything you want as long as it's not the same as the original file name. This keeps your original ROM safe.

I've only tested patched RE4 games on a PC with an emulator (PCSX2), and they worked fine.

Shouldn't need any additional files if you're using Windows (uses the .net framework).
